If players and managers can be judged, why not executives?

As football fans we're constantly measuring and discussing the performances of players, managers and the team. That's an obvious part of it all. The games are played, we react to collective and individual performances, in-game decisions, substitutions and all the rest. That's where the focus is and that's completely understandable. We don't spend quite as much time looking at those higher up. It's not to say we don't pay attention, but the people at executive level don't get the same kind of scrutiny.
