Arsenal scouts across Europe have contracts terminated amid cost-saving cuts

Arsenal are reportedly set to cull several senior scouts across Europe in another round of cost-cutting measures. As many as 10 part-time youth scouts saw their employment terminated last week due to financial cutbacks amid the coronavirus pandemic. The recruitment staff, who were informed of the news via email, will see their contracts expire at the end of June and not be renewed. They had been recognised as bringing through the current crop of Gunners starlets that included Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Reiss Nelson.
