Arsenal's worst Bernd Leno fears as they face anxious wait for injury update

Arsenal fans are waiting with bated breath for an update on Bernd Leno following his exit from the field of play in Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Brighton on Sunday. But Gunners supporters may not like what they hear, with Goal reporting the German could be out for up to a year with a cruciate ligament knee injury. Leno had stern words with Brighton striker Neal Maupay as he left the pitch on a stretcher after a collision with the Seagulls forward in the box. The goalkeeper landed awkwardly as the Frenchman crashed into him in an innocuous challenge. Leno's knee gave way underneath him and he was forced off on a stretcher.
