Robin van Persie details demand he made to Man Utd before transfer from Arsenal

Robin van Persie has revealed how he demanded to know if Manchester United's senior stars would accept him before agreeing to join the club from Arsenal. Van Persie stunned the Premier League when he quit the Gunners for United in 2012 for £24m. The Dutch striker had won the league title with the Gunners as well as the Golden Boot, but joined United because he wanted to work under Sir Alex Ferguson.
