Arsenal are looking to strike a deal to sign Joelson Fernandes from Sporting with the help of agent Kia Joorabchian. Joelson’s representative is a known Gunners fan and he is at the heart of a potential deal between the two clubs. The 17-year-old winger is highly rated across Europe and seen as the ‘next Cristiano Ronaldo’ at Sporting. Joelson could follow in Ronaldo’s footsteps in leaving Sporting for the Premier League, like the Portuguese superstar did when he joined Manchester United in 2003.
