Piers Morgan has lashed out at his beloved Arsenal. The broadcaster, journalist and writer is often vocal about events that surround the north London club, and their decision to sack 55 members of staff was certain to attract his attention. The 55-year-old acknowledged the announcement on Twitter on Thursday, and he pointed towards two factors which make the reduction in staff rather questionable. As well as the huge wages earned by the out-of-favour Mesut Ozil, the fact that they won the FA Cup means that they have qualified for the Europa League group stages for next season, bringing in extra funds.
