Champions League biggie, Friday a signing day?
Morning all. Its been a long time since the Arsenal first team have been involved in a Champions League quarterfinals. 2009/10 season I think it was. 2-2 at home in the first leg followed by a 4-1 defeat in Catalonia and we were history. The Champions League and Arsenal haven’t exactly got on. 2006 was close, but not close enough. The women however, they’ve won the big cup. The season after the men’s final. 1-0 was enough to see off Umea. Alex Scott on 91 minutes, talk about leave it late. The quarterfinal will of course be played behind closed doors at the Anoeta Stadium in San Sebastián and kicks off at 7pm. Annoyingly, BT Sport have the broadcasting rights, same as the men’s...
