For all the hope and belief I and probably a number of Arsenal fans had going into the match against Liverpool, the reality is, at Anfield they were far superior to the team Mikel Arteta selected. After going 1-0 up against the run of play, defensive mistakes allowed Liverpool to equalise. The home team soon went ahead thanks to more sloppy defending and when Lacazette blew a golden opportunity to bring the scores level, our chances of taking something from the game were pretty much gone.
