Mesut Ozil was offered a role at BT Sport after sharing his thoughts on Arsenal’s Europa League win over Rapid Vienna on Twitter. The German, who is currently earning £350,000-a-week in north London, is not part of the squad for the European campaign this season. It has been a tough week for the midfielder as it was confirmed he would also not be part of the Premier League squad this year.
