Lucas Torreira believes that the language barrier ‘cost him’ at Arsenal. The Uruguay international joined Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan on the final day of the summer transfer window having slipped down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta. Although the 24-year-old had impressed under Unai Emery following his move from Sampdoria back in 2018, it now seems as though he will leave the club on a permanent basis when his loan expires.
