Unai Emery gives verdict on Arsenal as he assesses "difficult" current situation
Unai Emery has offered his thoughts on where Arsenal will finish in the Premier League this season. The Spaniard, who managed 43 wins from his 78 matches in charge of the Gunners between 2018 and 2019, has pointed out that his successor Mikel Arteta has a long way to go. Arteta has over seen four consecutive victories in all competitions after going seven league matches without a win, leaving them nine points behind fourth-placed Everton. While noting the quality of the sides that Arsenal have to try and match, Emery backed the new look team to achieve what he couldn’t in his only full season in charge.
