Mesut Ozil appears to take swipe at Arsenal after committing to Super League

Mesut Ozil has appeared to take a thinly-veiled dig at Arsenal following the Gunners’ intention to be a founding member of the European Super League. Arsenal are one of 12 clubs to reveal plans to be in the new competition with five fellow Premier League outfits also involved. Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City are the other English teams that are included. Another of Ozil’s former clubs in Real Madrid are also involved, alongside Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, Juventus and Inter Milan.
