UEFA chief Aleksander Ceferin brands European Super League as a spit in the face

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin has launched a blistering attack on those clubs wanting to form a European Super League and accused them of spitting in the faces of football. A dozen of Europe's biggest clubs have signed an agreement to launch a breakaway league that has caused outrage within the game. Those involved include both Manchester clubs, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus. A fuming Ceferin has vowed to stop it from happening and accused those club owners and bosses of being obsessed with greed. He has also labelled the likes of United executive vice chairman Ed Woodward and Juve owner Andrea Agnelli of being snakes who have lied to him...
