Football hasn’t been the game most of us grew up watching for a good while now. This week though it truly became that hateful American term for it “soccer” and jumpers for goalposts became piles of cash for fat cat billionaires. And it stinks more than an old school, post match dressing room. The shameless six UK clubs signing up to the European Super League are beyond contempt and probably for the first time ever I feel sorry for Spurs fans. No, really.
