Florentino Perez's Super League rant from fining clubs to 40 Chelsea protestors

Florentino Perez has hit out at the protests of Chelsea supporters and the withdrawal of Premier League clubs from the European Super League after widespread discontent. The Real Madrid chief has not stepped down quietly since the plans were torn to shreds, insisting that the 12 founders have signed legally binding contracts. The 74-year-old has now given his thoughts on the protests at Stamford Bridge which proceeded the withdrawals, and insisted that his plan remains viable. He believes that English clubs were only told that they were ‘killing football’ and that a new plan will take the place of the ESL despite it’s failure.
