Hall of Fame’s 23-man shortlist as fans decide next six after Shearer and Henry

The Premier League have released their 23-man shortlist to decide the next six Hall of Fame places. Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and Newcastle icon Alan Shearer, the all-time top scorer for the division, have already been included as the first two occupants. But six more places will be filled by players in a public vote, set to close on May 9 at 6pm, with the players required to have retired from playing by August 1 2020. And Henry has the opportunity to be joined by five of his former Gunners team-mates in Tony Adams, Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole, Patrick Vieira and Ian Wright. .
