UEFA 'ready to pursue Champions League ban' for European Super League clubs
European Super League rebels could be handed a brutal two-year Champions League or Europa League ban for the part they played in the failed breakaway plans. UEFA are said to have spent the past 10 days in conversation with the 12 clubs involved, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and Manchester City included. However, only those who have not yet agreed to a lesser sanction, Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona and AC Milan, could face the ban which would last for two campaigns.
