Arsenal sent warning over squad and transfers even if Ek completes takeover
Former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp has slammed Arsenal's chances of a top-four finish next season, even if Daniel Ek completes his proposed takeover. Rumours have persisted that Ek - alongside a consortium - is ready to launch a bid to takeover the Gunners, following the fallout from the European Super League. The Swede - who is Spotify's co-founder - could land the North London side for around £1.7billion from American billionaire Stan Kroenke: but, Kroenke has rebuffed any chance of selling up.
