Arsenal see £40m Ben White offer rejected by Brighton - but will bid again

Arsenal are set to return to the drawing board and form a higher bid for Brighton star Ben White after their £40m opening offer was rejected by the Seagulls. Graham Potter's side are standing firm in their stance that anyone who wants White will have to pay £50m minimum, something Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is reportedly considering given how his Arsenal team are in dire need of strengthening. The Gunners originally submitted their £40m bid this week, only for it to be rebuffed by Brighton who want £10m more.
