Arsenal handed Martin Odegaard boost as Real Madrid ace 'wants to return'

Arsenal have been handed a major boost in the transfer window with Martin Odegaard keen on a return. That will be music to Mikel Arteta's ears, who is desperate to land the playmaker following a successful loan period last season. The Norway international joined from Real Madrid in January after being shunted out of the side by Zinedine Zidane. But with Carlo Ancelotti in charge, the initial signs were that Odegaard would remain at the Bernabeu to impress his new manager. However, with Real looking to offload their fringe players, the Gunners are prepared to capitalise while the 22-year-old is keen on a return to north London.
