Olivier Giroud snubbed Everton move from Arsenal after friend received 'sign from heaven'

Olivier Giroud has admitted that he turned down the chance to play for Everton in the summer after a friend of his mother's had a dream telling him not to. The France international left Chelsea last summer after his contract expired, calling time on his nine-year stint in the Premier League. At both Arsenal and Stamford Bridge, he became a fan favourite for his penchant for the spectacular at times. Some highlights include a scorpion kick goal for the Gunners and netting an overhead kick for the Blues in the Champions League.
