Arsenal defender Gabriel managed to fight off a robber who was wielding a baseball bat at his north London home in Barnet, and attempted to steal his £45,000 Mercedes. Gabriel and friend, Rodrigo Tavares, were returning from a night out when the thugs attacked them, demanding his car keys, mobile phone and watch after being followed. As reported by the Mail, Abderaham Muse proceeded to lunge at Gabriel while holding the bat, but the Brazilian fought them off. CCTV footage shows that Gabriel managed to hit Muse, 26, in the face and grabbed his hat, before he and his accomplices fled the scene.
