Premier League clubs are currently fearing a Christmas lockdown at their stadiums, even for supporters that have already been vaccinated. With cases of the Omicron variant rising in the UK, the government could choose to impose fresh restrictions, starting with Covid passports at large events. This would mean unvaccinated fans would be unable to attend matches in the Premier League, with fears it could later be expanding to ban all fans from attending.
