Arsenal youngsters thrashed by Colchester as Jack Wilshere gains coaching experience

Jack Wilshere was handed his first dose of coaching experience as Arsenal's U18s were humiliated by Colchester United's U18s 3-0 on Friday evening. Wilshere was the Gunners' assistant manager for the clash as he looks to gain coaching experience. The 29-year-old is currently a free agent after his contract with Bournemouth expired over the summer, and he failed to find a new club. Wilshere has since returned to Arsenal to keep up his fitness levels - under the tutelage of his former midfield partner Mikel Arteta - and he's tried his hand at coaching.
