£70m release clause can save Arsenal’s transfer window after Dusan Vlahovic blow

Arsenal’s anticlimactic January window may still be saved by transfer target Alexander Isak’s reported release clause of £70million. Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu Gaspar had put Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic top of their January wish-list, even offering the Italian club in excess of £60million for the Serb. It has now emerged that Vlahovic, 21, has snubbed Arsenal in order to join Serie A giants Juventus, with the Bianconeri reportedly set to submit an official bid.
