William Saliba says Arsenal gave him "a good slap" following £27million transfer
Arsenal outcast William Saliba has admitted that playing for the club's under 23s gave him a 'good slap'. Saliba, who is currently on loan at Marseille, joined the Gunners from Saint Etienne for £27million in 2019, but is still yet to make a first-team appearance for the north Londoners. The 20-year-old has, however, featured twice for Arsenal's U23s, against Gillingham and Wimbledon in the Papa John's Trophy before a loan move to Nice last year.
