Tim Akinola joins Dundee United on loan
Young midfielder Tim Akinola has joined Scottish Premiership side Dundee United on loan for the remainder of the 2021/22 season. The 20-year-old joined us from Huddersfield Town in summer 2020 and went on to make 21 Premier League 2 appearances last season. Starting his career with Lincoln City, Tim has continued to be a regular in our under-23s and under-21s this season, making 11 appearances in the PL2. The defensive midfielder, who was born in Lokoja, Nigeria, is eligible to represent both Nigeria and England at international level.
