Saliba named UNFP Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year

Congratulations to William Saliba, who has been named UNFP Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year.  The France international joined Marseille on loan at the start of 2021/22, and has displayed consistency in his performances throughout, stepping up to become a key squad member.  In Ligue 1 alone, Saliba has featured in 36 games this season and helped his side keep 14 clean sheets.  Marseille are currently third in the table, but could still climb above Monaco on Saturday when they face Strasbourg in their final game of the season.  Across all competitions, Saliba has made 51 appearances, keeping 20 clean sheets, and has been named Marseille’s Player of the Month on three separate...
