Man Utd Stepping Up Talks With Arsenal Target Morgan Schneiderlin
It has been reported that Manchester United have stepped up negotiations with Southampton for Morgan Schneiderlin. The Daily Mail says a United official was driven from Old Trafford to Southampton in a club vehicle on Wednesday morning in a bid to push the deal through. Southampton are understood to want a fee close to £27m for Schneiderlin, who has also attracted interest from Arsenal and Liverpool. But United, who see the midfielder as an eventual successor to Michael Carrick, are favourites to win the battle for his services.
