Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reveals why we didn't sign Raheem Sterling

Arsene Wenger has revealed that our options in the wide areas convinced him that we weren't in need of Manchester City-bound Raheem Sterling, the Mirror reports. Speaking to reporters as the squad touched down in Singapore, Wenger stressed that we have a plethora of options in wide areas and attacking midfield positions. Sterling is set to complete a £49million move to the Etihad Stadium (via BBC Sport), and Wenger clearly didn't see the need in shelling out that fee for a position we are currently blessed in.
