Arsenal blow as French striker confirms desire to stay

Arsenal have been handed a blow in our reported attempts to land Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, after the striker confirmed his desire to stay at Lyon, the Daily Mail reports. Lacazette, who netted 27 league goals in Ligue 1 last term, is a reported target for us as we look to add a top quality forward to our array of talent, the Mail suggests. The 24-year-old has blistering pace, something we lack when Olivier Giroud is positioned at the focal point of our attack, but it seems as though potential suitors must wait another 12 months to sign the striker.
