Arsenal chief: No manager can do what Arsene Wenger has done

Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis is adamant that no manager could've smoothly safeguarded our move from Highbury to the Emirates Stadium better than Arsene Wenger, and has tipped the boss to deliver the Premier League, The Evening Standard reports. In a period where there was extreme financial restriction – while our rivals spent seemingly unlimited amounts of money – Wenger successfully kept us in the top four, which was our aim for a number of years. The money generated was crucial for our development, with players such as Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie departing and replaced with players of not equal calibre.
