Tottenham may have helped Arsenal to long term transfer target… again

Our North London rivals unwittingly helped us to sign Mesut Özil back in 2013 (via The Telegraph), with their sale of Gareth Bale opening the door for the German World Cup winner to leave Real Madrid. They may have once again done us a favour this summer, with Benjamin Stambouli's somewhat surprising move to Paris Saint-Germain (via The Guardian) potentially forcing a long-term target of ours away from the Ligue 1 Champions.
