Arsenal and Liverpool linked striker staying put

Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette will not leave the French club this summer, according to his manager Hubert Fournier. The France international has been in superlative form over the last 12 months, finishing last term as Ligue 1’s top goalscorer with 28 strikes. He has also been starring for the French national side and is widely expected to be an important member of Didier Deschamps’ side that hosts Euro 2016 next summer. Both Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with a move for Lacazette this summer, with the Lyon youth product clearly good enough for a move to one of European football’s top clubs.
