Liverpool failed with a stunning move to snap up recently released Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby, according to reports from the Daily Star. The Frenchman ended an injury-plagued spell at the Emirates Stadium earlier this month and has now signed for Ligue 1 side Marseille, ending his brief period as a free agent.
