Arsenal to make Wilshere statement

Arsenal are set to make a statement later on Thursday following widespread newspaper reports claiming Jack Wilshere has suffered a suspected hairline fracture of his ankle. Wilshere sustained an injury in training on Saturday and manager Arsene Wenger said the problem would only rule the England midfielder out for a matter of days.  But, according to newspaper reports, he is facing up to two months on the sidelines and will miss the beginning of the new Premier League season as well as England's European Qualifiers with San Marino and Switzerland in September.  Wilshere, 23, has been plagued by a long line of injury problems during his early career and missed five months of last...
