Wilshere surgery rules him out for 3 months

Arsenal have confirmed that Jack Wilshere will require an operation on his left fibula after a setback in his recuperation from a hairline fracture sustained in pre-season. The England international required surgery on his left ankle last November after damaging ligaments following a challenge by Jonny Evans in Arsenal's 2-1 defeat by Manchester United. He was initially ruled out for three months and ended up missing 26 games before eventually returning in mid-May.
