Debuchy ‘trying to stay strong' but could leave

Mathieu Debuchy says he is 'trying to stay strong' despite being demoted to back-up at Arsenal, and that he may consider his future in January. Signed for over £12million from Newcastle in the summer of 2014, Debuchy was considered as Arsenal's first choice right-back heading into last season, but suffered a couple of injuries and lost his place to Hector Bellerin. Bellerin started this season as the number one right-back after impressing in the latter half of last season, but the Spaniard suffered an injury to himself which has facilitated Debuchy's return.
