Arsenal given hope in Barcelona battle for Spain star

Arsenal have been handed a boost as they battle with Barcelona for Celta Vigo star Nolito, according to reports in the Metro. The Spanish club are understood to favour a sale abroad, rather than lose the in-form striker to a fellow La Liga team. Seven goals in eleven games this season have seen top clubs on the continent sit up and take note of the 29-year old, who recently became a fully-fledged Spanish international, and is now in with a huge chance of making La Roja’s Euro 2016 squad. A versatile attacker, Nolito is able to play either wide or centrally in forward positions, and has proved devastating in front of goal.
