Arsene Wenger praises Arsenal's 'mentally determined' performance

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised his side's mental strength in shrugging off Wednesday's Champions League defeat to Monaco to see off Everton in the Premier League on Sunday. The Gunners find themselves with a mountain to climb in Europe after succumbing to a 3-1 first-leg loss to their Ligue 1 counterparts, but remained focused domestically as goals by Olivier Giroud and Tomas Rosicky helped beat the Toffees 2-0. Wenger told BBC Sport after Sunday's game: "We were focused, it was a mentally determined performance.
