Tony Mowbray advises James Maddison to stay at Coventry City

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has encouraged James Maddison to ignore the reported Premier League interest in his services. Recent speculation has claimed that both Arsenal and Liverpool had considered making a January bid for the 19-year-old. However, Mowbray has insisted that the youngster would benefit more from continuing his development at the Ricoh Arena. "These big teams might think that they'll able to get a player from a League One club but I have to say I think the owner is pretty resolved on the matter," he told the club's official website.
