Official: Midfielder deal finalized and pictured in Arsenal colours

Arsenal have officially signed Mohamed Elneny from FC Basel, with the club finally announcing the deal on their Arsenal official website. The Egypt international's transfer has been a long time coming with work permit issues holding up the process, but he will hope to be eligible to join the squad for Sunday's Premier League fixture away to Stoke City. The 23-year-old has scored six goals this season in 28 games for Basel (via Arsenal.com) and has won an impressive three Super League titles with the Swiss outfit.
