Alex Iwobi discussing new Arsenal deal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the club are trying to tie down teenager Alex Iwobi to a new deal. The winger has impressed with two goals in his two Premier League starts for the Gunners, prompting Wenger to push for a longer-term deal despite him having three years remaining on his current contract. "We are discussing to extend him," Wenger told reporters at a press conference. "I think he is a real Arsenal person, he has been here since the age of eight.
