Personal terms ‘agreed' with 43M Arsenal target

Follow the author on Twitter: @Attlee It's long been suggested that we were looking to sign Borussia Monchengladbach's Granit Xhaka, and the reports are now claiming personal terms have been agreed, according to Goal. The deal is apparently as good as done, although the Bundesliga side are looking to ensure they have a replacement lined up before they let Xhaka go. The 23-year-old looks destined to leave the club this summer, but it would obviously strengthen Gladbach's hand were they to be looking to make signings while he's still at the club, as opposed to appearing desperate to fill the gap left by the Swiss international after his departure.
