Petr Cech retires from international football with Czech Republic

Petr Cech played in four European Championships with Czech Republic. Petr Cech has announced his retirement from international football after 124 appearances for Czech Republic. Cech, 34, made his debut for Czech Republic in 2002 and went on to appear in four European Championships and the 2006 World Cup. He was part of the side that made it to the Euro 2004 semifinals, losing to eventual winners Greece and steps aside as the country's most capped player.
