Arsenal boss looks at positives following Champions League exit

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has seen the positive side in the Gunners’ exit from the Champions League after their 2-0 win over Monaco on Tuesday, Daily Star reports. Wenger’s men needed to win at least 3-0 to progress to the knock-out stages following a disastrous first leg at the Emirates, in which they were defeated 3-1 by their Ligue-1 opponents. Olivier Giroud scored late in the first half to give Arsenal some hope they can achieve an almost impossible task, and when Aaron Ramsey scored in the 79th minute Monaco really had their backs against the wall.
