Arsenal Star Admits Surprise At Arsenal Stay
Alex Iwobi thought he would leave Arsenal on loan before earning a regular place in the first team since making the break through last season. The 20-year-old got the chance to become one of Wenger’s regulars when he impressed by scoring in two consecutive victories against Everton and Watford towards the end of last season. The quick rise of Iwobi has so far earned him five appearances in the current league season in which the winger has delivered by contributing to three goals and impressing in a wide role.
