Wenger Reveals His Favourite Football Stadium

Arsene Wenger has revealed his favourite football stadium is Anfield but admits it used to be the club's former ground Highbury which he feels had a “special soul”. The Gunnners moved to the Emirates Stadium in 2006 after being refused permission to expand Highbury. Wenger admits that while he loved Highbury his favourite ground to visit now is Anfield due to the intense atmosphere on Merseyside. “My favourite stadium with biggest fanbase with the most heated atmosphere is Liverpool,” Wenger said via The Metro. “Before it was Highbury.
