Arsene Wenger wants Olivier Giroud contract extension

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he wants Olivier Giroud to renew his contract at the club. The 30-year-old's current deal runs out at the end of next season and he has been linked with a move away from the Emirates having fallen behind Alexis Sanchez in the pecking order. Wenger admitted that it was tough to keep all of his players happy, but is hopeful that Giroud will extend his stay in North London. "How do we keep them all happy? Honestly I don't know. If you have only one striker, the press says 'why don't you buy another striker?' Once you buy one more they say 'how can you keep him happy?'" he told reporters.
