Man City boss Pep Guardiola makes huge decision for FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal

Kompany has not started back to back games since October because of injury problems and he did not complete either of those matches,  coming off after 78 minutes against Southampton and at half-time in the League Cup tie at Manchester United. But after completing the full 90 minutes – and scoring the first goal – in City’s 3-0 win at Southampton last Saturday, Kompany has convinced Guardiola he is finally over the injury troubles that have plagued him for two years. The fact that there is an eight-day gap between the games to allow Kompany to fully recover from only his seventh start this season, is also a factor in Guardiola’s thinking to start his captain...
